Currently, he is a Director in Vector Cuatro’s Board and he is responsible for the international operational engineering activities of the firm. As a co-founder of Langley Renovables (an Engineering and Consultancy renewable firm) he was involved in the development of the technical operational services of the company, being involved in different renewable technologies. He has taken part in the engineering, construction and commissioning of more than 500 MW of photovoltaic projects and he has audited, thorough PVdiagnosis, PV installations for more than 350 MW.
Prior to founding Langley Renovables, Mr. López was responsible for various multi-megawatt photovoltaic projects in the department of Engineering and R&D of Isofotón, being involved in the development, engineering and construction of ground and rooftop solar photovoltaic projects. Before that, he was responsible for the development, promotion and engineering at Corporación Eólica CESA (first independent wind power developer, currently owned by Acciona) and was directly involved in the construction of wind parks totalling 48 MW and in the development of more than 325 MW. Mr. López also worked at Steer Davies Gleave Ltd., an Engineering and Transport Consulting firm based in London and began his professional career at S.I.C.E. (Dragados Group) where he worked in the Engineering Department at Madrid´s Central offices and as a Project Manager and regional construction responsible at Murcia´s office gaining an extensive expertise in electrical installations.
