Vector Cuatro secures a new Asset Management contract in Japan
The Firm has signed an agreement for the asset management of a solar PV project owned by one of the most important companies in the Pacific energy sector.
This agreement strengthens Vector Cuatro´s presence in Asia, where in addition to providing management services, participates providing support in the development, construction and commissioning of solar PV plants. These services are key for the successful management of an asset from a technical, commercial and financial view point.
Vector Cuatro entered the renewable energy markets in Japan in late 2012 as a Technical Advisor and providing support in transaction services for solar PV plants. Since then, the Tokyo office has grown up rendering feasibility studies, technical due diligences and consulting services in more than 4 GW, mostly for banks as Lender Technical Advisor and for Japanese and international sponsors. Vector Cuatro’s strong positioning as technical advisor for many relevant Japanese lenders has been very important in achieving this asset management contract.
With the aim of providing an improved service to projects in Japan as well as continuing to strengthen its presence in the country, the company moved in April 2015 to its new Japanese headquarters located in Shinjuku district. The local team is formed by a mix of Japanese and international professionals, who provide the best advice in management, investment and engineering to their clients. Vector Cuatro has positioned itself as a key reference in the renewable industry with an international client portfolio to which belong the most active banks and companies in Japan.
At present, with more than 7 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, Vector Cuatro has a portfolio of over 1,000 MW under management in America, Europe and Asia.
